Pentecostal Theological Seminary is a Wesleyan Pentecostal seminary with roots that run deep in the Pentecostal Movement. Nestled in the Foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains, it is located between Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tennessee. It offers six Master Level degrees (Master of Divinity (Chaplaincy Concentration), Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Licensure track), and Master in Arts in Discipleship and Christian Formation, Master of Arts in Counseling (Non-Licensure track), Master of Theological Studies) and a Doctor of Ministry Degree. Pentecostal Theological Seminary continues to be a favorite place for training in parish ministries, chaplaincy and counseling careers. The Chaplains Commission, a global office supervising over 500 chaplains (military, institutional and community) the Church of God is located on the PTS campus. In addition PTS is vitally connected to provide counseling in the areas of pastoral, marriage and family, addictions and abuse.

Psychology

A general program that focuses on the scientific study of individual and collective behavior, the physical and environmental bases of behavior, and the analysis and treatment of behavior problems and disorders. Includes instruction in the principles of the various subfields of psychology, research methods, and psychological assessment and testing methods.
