Why you should attend?

Kean University has the most comprehensive transition services dedicated to supporting veterans, servicemember and dependents. The Center for Veterans Student Success, (CVSS) houses all of these comprehensive services. The services utilize a single service model where the CVSS handles all aspects for Kean veteran scholars from recruitment all the way to graduation. When a veteran contacts the CVSS we work on their goals and help them successful achieve. The priority is the veteran and offer the following services: instant admissions decisions, along with review of all transfer credit to include military credit, priority advising and registration, VA and Military Educational benefits processing to include financial aid and scholarships. in-person VA support such as VA VITAL, Vets Center to provide on campus services from tele health, counseling to claims management with two on staff Veterans Service Officers, bi monthly case management, and involvement programs throughout the academic year. One is a full scholarship veterans WWII travelearn every other semester, 2023 was Normandy and 2025 is London. The CVSS is abreast on the latest and best programs supporting veterans and their families. The CVSS also provides staff and faculty training on transitioning veterans to scholars emphasizing their leadership skills.
