Why attend Charleston Southern University

To better assist our military and veteran students with their higher educational needs, CSU has implemented a Veterans Services Office consisting of a certifying official and veteran financial aid counselor. CSU participates in the Dept. of Veterans Affairs Yellow Ribbon Program under the Post 9/11 GI Bill and is in partnership with the DOD by signing the DOD MOU. CSU also has a Veterans Lounge where our veteran students have a common place to relax, do homework and connect with our veterans. The lounge is also conveniently located between our Student Success Center and Career Services Offices. CSU has a SVA for our military and veteran students that meet on a monthly basis. CSU also has Air Force and Army ROTC programs on campus.
