Simpson's location makes it an excellent choice for military members and their families. We are located in Indianola, Iowa (pop.14,700), a Home-Base Iowa Community in Warren County, also certified as a Home-Base Iowa County. Simpson is 15 miles south of Des Moines (metro pop. 500,000), Iowa's state capitol, and close to Fort Des Moines and Iowa Air National Guard Camp Dodge. Simpson's location also provides easy access to a variety of internships, as well as jobs after graduation. Simpson, a CHAMPS partner, offers traditional, evening and online programming, with more than 70 majors, minors and pre-professional programs are available. Students can participate in various extracurricular activities, including Division III athletics, fine arts programs, leadership organizations, religious life and service groups.
