Wayne Community College

Wayne Community College (WCC) is a two-year, associate degree-granting, public, open admissions college. WCC is located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and is one of the 58 institutions in the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS). Wayne Community College’s mission is to meet the educational, training, and cultural needs of the communities it serves. The college’s primary area is Wayne County, North Carolina. Wayne County is one of the leading agricultural counties in NC, ranking third largest in the state. Wayne County is also home to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and the 4th Fighter Wing.

Why you should attend?

WCC, through its Seymour Johnson Air Force base office program, serves active duty military, dependents, reserve, and veterans by providing courses, advising, and support to students to aid them in meeting their educational goals. WCC recognizes the contribution and sacrifice of the military family and strives to offer programs that enhance and enable them to serve and continue their education through a wide variety of courses, offerings to include online degrees and classes and multiple course offerings that vary in time and length. For example, the college offers four, eight, twelve, and sixteen-week courses.
