Ave Maria School of Law

Fides et Ratio. Faith and Reason. This is Ave Maria School of Law’s motto. With a campus located in Naples, Southwest Florida’s paradise, and small class sizes, students have the advantage of one-on-one time with their professors. At the root of where it all began is Ave Maria Law’s inimitable founder, American entrepreneur, U.S. Veteran and devoted Catholic, Tom Monaghan. Ave Maria Law is proud to be named “Most Conservative” and “Most Devout” law school by PreLaw Magazine, one of the best law schools by The Princeton Review, and ranked, more than once, a top military friendly school by VIQTORY.

Why you should attend?

Ave Maria Law School is committed to honoring our nation's military veterans. Ave Maria Law is proud of our students, alumni and several faculty members who are veterans, as well as three faculty members who are retired Army JAG officers. Our founder, Thomas S. Monaghan, is a marine veteran, our Dean and CEO is an army veteran, and several members of the Board of Governors are also veterans. Ave Maria School of Law’s Veterans Law Clinic provides pro bono legal representation and case management services to qualifying veterans and their family members. Our law students represent veterans in civil legal matters under the supervision of a licensed attorney who serves as the Veterans Law Clinic Director. The clinic will handle a range of issues that veterans face after they separate from their service. Legal services offered by the Veterans Law Clinic are at no cost and represent Ave Maria Law’s continuing commitment to serve our nation’s veterans heroes.
