West Chester University strives to create an intentional culture of understanding, acceptance, and success for Veterans, active Military, National Guard Service Members, their family members, and those who support them. The University is committed to facilitating communication among its campus offices in order to serve student Veterans and their families with a coordinated system of service and provide a meaningful transition from the Military to West Chester University. A licensed professional counselor, dedicated to the specialized needs of our student Veteran population, and Veteran and Military Admissions Counselor are on staff. Visitors of the University's Veterans Center can enjoy a worry-free parking slot in the rear of the building. The Veterans Center physical space recently expanded to include the first and second floors of the building. Additionally, the Veterans Center staff now includes a full-time Administrative Assistant and two School Certifying Officials.
