Whittier College

Whittier College is where students are actively involved in the local community as they explore their role in the global community. Our residential nature is a key component in fostering an atmosphere where knowledge can be pursued 24/7. With a 10:1 student to faculty ratio, students are not lost in the shuffle and are provided with a strong network of support to ensure their success. This is a community where individuality is valued, tolerance is cherished, and the things that make each of us unique are invaluable tools in seeking greater knowledge and understanding.

Why you should attend?

Whittier College offers student veterans unlimited Yellow Ribbon funding, and other opportunities for academic and professional development through programs like the Ahmanson Veteran Fellowship. The fellowship offers three pathways, from the research pathway, which allow student veterans to engage in a substantive undergraduate research project with a faculty mentor to 2 additional pathways that provide student veterans with a training curriculum specifically designed to prepare them for a successful return to the civilian workforce. Whittier also has strong support programs like the Veteran Childcare Grant, and Meal Voucher program which give veterans access to the Dining Hall at no cost.
