Why you should attend?

Veterans receive customized support through Virginia Tech’s Office of Veteran Services (OVS), which offers welcome sessions to explain benefits, professional development opportunities, and assists veterans with the transition to life at VT. OVS operates the VeTZone, a student lounge for veteran use. OVS works closely with Virginia’s Department of Veteran Services to connect veterans to local services. VT also has an active SVA Chapter, Veterans@VT, which brings together student veterans for varied events to include tailgates, networking sessions, hikes, tours and other varied on and off campus club and community service based events.
