Why you should attend?

UW-Stevens Point has a full-time veterans coordinator in the Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Services dedicated to helping military servicemembers and veterans connect with resources on and off campus as well as introducing them to other student veterans. This position helps students to navigate and understand the process of applying for Federal and State VA benefits. UW-Stevens Point is equipped to help with credit for military service, short-term leave, military call-up guidelines and residency. Other campus departments who offer support include the Dean of Students, Counseling Center, Disability and Assistive Technology Center, Student Academic Advising Center, Tutoring-Learning Center and the Veterans Club.
