Why you should attend?

UNLV established the Military & Veteran Services Center (MVSC) to better serve our growing student veteran and military family community by developing a welcoming, veteran-friendly campus that fosters academic and personal success. We understand the many challenges associated with pursuing a degree and the challenges associated with transitioning from the military to the civilian world. Working with the Las Vegas Veteran Engagement Community Council for veteran resources and our VetSuccess and VITAL offices on campus to meet these needs, MVSC is staffed with veterans and VA Education Benefit experienced staff to assist over 9,000 veterans, dependents, active-duty service members, National Guard members and reservists since 2012. We assist with answers to questions concerning admissions, enrollment certification, financial aid resources, campus and community support services, and various networks for veteran employment opportunities. We developed a paperless certifying process during the pandemic.
