The University of Alabama is dedicated to the transition from military to college with a specialized office to serve the unique needs of veterans, service members, dependents, and survivors. The Office of Veteran and Military Affairs (VMA) has a physical location on campus with resources such as a computer lab with free printing, study rooms and a student lounge. In addition, the VMA has office space for VA Healthcare and VA Benefits employees to serve the holistic needs of veterans and service members as they transition into academia.
