Northwest Florida State College

Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) is located in the Western Panhandle of Florida near Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, and Duke Field. The College has been designated a Purple Heart college and offers a variety of specialized services and programs. NWFSC has an annual enrollment of approximately 10,000 students reaching across seven campuses and centers. Students benefit from convenient access to academic opportunities with day, evening, weekend, mini-term, and online course options each semester. NWFSC classes average 18 students, and free tutoring/academic services are available.

Why you should attend?

With seven locations throughout its two-county service area, physical and distance learning options are conveniently available for service members and their families. The College recognizes the educational value of military training and experience. Students may submit official military transcripts to receive credit consideration. The College also assists with admission to BAS programs for students with a CCAF degree. Eligible active-duty members may receive military tuition assistance (TA) and fee waivers while attending NWFSC. Because the College has affordable tuition rates in addition to these benefits, students’ education dollars can go further.
