Part of Tech's orientation program includes directing veterans to student services especially equipped to handle veterans' issues, including information on GI benefits, mental health providers and job placement. Michigan Tech has been elevated from silver to gold-level status as a Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Veteran-Friendly School.
