Gwynedd Mercy University

Gwynedd Mercy University (GMercyU) is a Catholic university with a strong foundation in the liberal arts and a deep commitment to the Mercy tradition of service to society. Our beautiful 160-acre residential is home to a diverse group of undergraduate students who enjoy small classes and a warm, welcoming and inclusive community in which to learn and grow. With four residence halls, 19 competitive NCAA Division III athletic teams, and dozens of clubs and organizations, the University is large enough to offer a vibrant campus life but small enough that students get the personal attention they need to be successful. Students also enjoy easy access to Philadelphia, which is just 30 minutes away. In addition to offering a traditional college experience for recent high school graduate and transfer students, GMercyU also offers online and accelerated undergraduate and graduate degree programs for working adults. These programs can be completed entirely online or at one of the University’s three campus locations in the Philadelphia area. With excellent programs in nursing, allied health, arts and sciences, education, and business, GMercyU students do more than prepare for successful careers; they prepare to live productive and meaningful lives.

Why you should attend?

There isn’t a ready-made plan that fits every active duty service member, veteran, and military dependent or spouse looking to earn their college degree. But, there can be a plan that fits your individual needs at Gwynedd Mercy University. That’s why Gwynedd Mercy University is a five-time G.I. Jobs Military Friendly School. We’re a military-friendly university in Pennsylvania that participates in all VA educational benefits programs. Unlike some other schools, GMercyU does not cap the number of students who can receive Yellow Ribbon benefits.
