Flathead Valley Community College

Located in scenic Northwest Montana, Flathead Valley Community College offers more than 100 academic programs. Students can begin their college education at FVCC with two-year programs that transfer to four-year institutions or take advantage of FVCC’s many career and technical programs that prepare graduates to enter the workforce quickly. With over 3,000 students, FVCC is a friendly college where people get to know each other. Student support resources, including tutoring, counseling, and peer-led study groups, are available to everyone. Class sizes are small, ensuring that students receive individualized attention from instructors.

Why you should attend?

FVCC's Veterans' Center assists student veterans and military family members with accessing their VA benefits and softening the transition from military life to civilian life. FVCC participates in various programs designed specifically for veterans, including but not limited to: Yellow Ribbon Program; Veterans' Upward Bound; and Section 702 of the Veterans, Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014. FVCC's Veterans' Association is a student veteran group focused on developing a foundation of understanding between veterans and non-veterans. Organizational activities include active support of the Montana Veterans' Home, monthly meetings, internal social events and more.
