UNI provides a welcoming, student-centered campus environment. The Military and Veteran Services Coordinator works closely with an institution-wide Veteran Student Services Committee to coordinate the provision of services to students who are military veterans and make recommendations for changes in service. Student veterans are included in the University's definition of diversity and are valued and respected as contributors to the fabric of campus life inside and outside of the classroom. Our attendance policy for service members is flexible, recognizing; UNI has a university policy recognizing service and emotional support animals.
