Why attend Tarrant County College (Trinity River Campus)

Tarrant County College is an excellent choice for Veterans because we offer the most affordable tuition in the state (Tarrant County College District $2,064 and $3,542 for the lowest other Public 2 Yr College in TX). The quality of our instructors are, however, exceptional as we share a large number of faculty with the most exclusive private 4 yr colleges in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Our campus has invested extensively in Veterans services. We opened a new Veterans Success Center this year and have developed a one-stop-shop for Veterans to discern their benefits, be enrolled, have advisement, wellness services, tutoring, and peer mentoring--all in one location. Our campus provides a warm and celebratory culture for Vets by offering Monthly Celebrate our Student hero's day where faculty and staff thank, high five, or hug our vets who wear pins from their branch of service. New developed programming include: PT club for Vets (working out together), Vet newspaper and media production group, and peer-to-peer program.
