BC3 is a community college serving the Western Pennsylvania counties of Butler, Lawrence Mercer, Armstrong and Clarion. We offer over 60 Associate Degree programs at five different locations: Main Campus, Cranberry Township, Lawrence Crossing, LindenPointe, Armstrong and Brockway.

Why attend Butler County Community College

BC3 has a dedicated staff member in Financial Aid for military students as well as a veteran work-study who works with veterans, retired military and reservists. The Vice President for Student Services serves as the co-advisor to the Student Veteran Association. A student veteran lounge was opened in the fall of 2013. Events have been added to new student orientation focusing on veterans.

A program that focuses on computer theory, computing problems and solutions, and the design of computer systems and user interfaces from a scientific perspective. Includes instruction in the principles of computational science, computer development and programming, and applications to a variety of end-use situations.

Pipefitting/Pipefitter & Sprinkler Fitter

A program that prepares individuals to design, install, and test industrial and commercial piping systems and automatic fire and exposure protection systems. Includes instruction in water systems, steam systems, heating and cooling systems, lubricating systems, piping materials, installation tools operation and maintenance, valve installation and repair, technical mathematics, blueprint interpretation, and applicable codes and standards.
