Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is a fully accredited comprehensive, public university with a diverse student population that includes a blend of traditional and non-traditional learners awarded degrees in a variety of disciplines. AUM is located on a 500-acre campus seven miles east of downtown Montgomery, Alabama, and offers highly respected, accredited academic programs in a challenging but caring college environment. Academic programs include 26 baccalaureate degrees, 14 masters degrees, 4 Educational Specialists degrees and 1 doctoral program, as approved by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education.

Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is in close proximity to many military installations such as Maxwell and Gunter Air Force bases and the Alabama National Guard Joint Force Headquarters. AUM offers flexible course schedules in traditional, online and hybrid formats, with courses offered in the day, evening, and on weekends. In addition to a dedicated Veterans Service Office, numerous other programs and services are offered to military/veteran students and their dependents including a veteran/military specific orientation, AUM Military Appreciation Night, transfer credit for military schools and USAFI/DANTES Level Tests, and recognition of military service during commencement ceremonies.
