Arkansas State University Beebe is a two year institution compiled of four campuses located in Beebe, Heber Springs, Little Rock AFB, and Searcy, Arkansas. ASUB campuses offer traditional, online and evening courses to achieve Certificate of Proficiency, Technical Certificate, and Associate Degrees. ASUB also offers many transfer programs consisting of a two year Associate degree at ASUB, with an agreement with other Central Arkansas colleges to transfer for the remaining two years needed to complete a Bachelor degree. This includes ASU Jonesboro, a separate college of the ASU system, located within classrooms on our Beebe Campus.

ASUB offers many non-traditional opportunities. We had traditional 16 weeks semesters as well as 8 week terms; and we offer many evening and online courses. For convenience we also have a campus on the local Air Force Base. ASU - Beebe's accreditation is nationally recognized, which means courses should transfer and be accepted nationwide.

Agricultural Power Machinery Operation

A program that prepares individuals to operate specialized farm, ranch, and agribusiness power equipment of a stationary, mobile, and/or hand-operated nature. Includes instruction in operating specialized equipment such as terrestrial and airborne crop-spraying equipment; tractors and hauling equipment; planting and harvesting equipment; cutting equipment; power sources and systems for silos, irrigation, pumping, and applications such as dairy, feeding and shearing operations; processing equipment; and applicable electrical, mechanical, and safety principles.

A program that prepares individuals to apply technical skills and advanced computer software and hardware to the creation of graphic representations and simulations in support of engineering projects. Includes instruction in engineering graphics, two-dimensional and three-dimensional engineering design, solids modeling, engineering animation, computer-aided drafting (CAD), computer-aided design (CADD), and auto-CAD techniques.
