Allen University is located 5 miles from Fort Jackson Army Base and Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center. There are also several other military installations either in Columbia, or within a 3-hour drive. The University is approved under a number of programs to provide quality education veterans. The Registrar's Office offers information regarding available programs applying for education benefits available to veterans and eligible dependents. Allen University has an agreement with Benedict College and the University of South Carolina - Columbia, whereas our students receive military education and training in areas of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
